So your little one wants to play the iPad. All the time. And when they finally switch it off, after lots of pleading, you notice that they get angry, moody, agitated or even aggressive. Their behaviour is noticeably different.

Maybe you and your partner have differing opinions about how your children should use technology (if at all). And it’s resulting in constant arguments.

Maybe your 9 year-old just won’t talk about anything other than Minecraft.

Or perhaps it’s your toddler’s persistent requests to watch TV. And the techno tantrum that results when you ask them to switch it off…it’s like nothing else you’ve seen before.

These are typical digital dilemmas facing many modern parents today.

Raising digital kids is hard. Really hard. We’ve got no guide to direct us. And we don’t have any frame of reference (we didn’t grow up in this digitally-saturated world).

As parents we’re often given conflicting and inaccurate advice when it comes to screens and kids. There’s so many misinformation and myths around young children using technology.

On one hand we’re told that our children need to be proficient with technology so they’re not “left behind” in this digital world. And then on the other hand, we’re told that screens are detrimental to children’s development and should be avoided at all costs.

So who are we to believe?

You know your little one will inherit a digital world. You know that banning technology is not the solution. But you’re just not sure how you can navigate this digital landscape with your child. It’s all so foreign to you. You didn’t grow up in this digital landscape.

How much is “too much” screen time?

Is my child “addicted” to technology?

Is my child learning or just “playing” with gadgets?

Are my child’s digital habits harming

But I can help you make sense of the brave new world in which you find yourself parenting.
